The rock world has lost a true legend as Joe Strummer, former lead singer of The Clash, has passed away from an apparent heart attack. The bad thing about this is that it comes just months before the group's 2003 induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame - with a possible reunion to accompany it. Next year's induction class is really strong, too, with AC/DC, the Police, Elvis Costello and the Attractions, and the Righteous Brothers set to join The Clash in enshrinement. The London Calling album will always be regarded as one of the finest rock albums of all time.
